Join us for three excellent short films to mark International Migrant Day!
The IOM – UN Migration Agency in Ireland, in collaboration with EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum will have the online premiere of two short films created by IOM Ireland along with a short movie from the official selection.
Drive it in!– Shairoze Akram is a GAA player of Pakistani origin that talks about how the sport helped him during his integration process in Ireland.
I Would Never– Through this short film we explore what microaggressions are and the negative impact that can have on people's mental health.
Our Only Home– This short film focuses on a group of Afro Turks and their experiences with racism.
Our screenings will be followed by a panel discussion chaired by Ms Lalini Veraassamy, Chief of Mission of IOM Ireland.
