The Great Gatsby has come to be regarded as one of the greatest American novels of all time selling over 30 million copies worldwide. Gatsby: The Musical is a brand new score from composer/lyricist Peter Beckett depicting the raucous and romantic heady days of the Jazz Age in 1922 whilst highlighting class distinction in the pursuit of the American Dream. The authentic nine piece band beautifully captures the style and sound of the flamboyant art deco era.
Narrator Nick Carraway guides us through this iconic tale as Jay Gatsby relentlessly pursues his first love – Daisy Buchanan.
