Axis Summer Sessions – A series of intimate livestreamed gigs performed every Monday night @ 9pm.

Each performance will be streamed on the axis Facebook and Instagram Live. Axis want to keep everything accessible at the moment so they are being offered for free but if you can afford it, a €5 donation to the axis arts fund would be greatly appreciated – you can donate here.

Steo is an emerging talent on the Irish music scene, a striking wordsmith with a unique musical style. His live sets have been described as pure alchemy. Steo has an eclectic taste to his music which shines through the multi-genre array of songs at his disposal

July 20thGráinne Hunt
Gráinne is a contemporary folk singer and songwriter, raised in Monaghan and based in Kildare. With consistently on-point, captivating vocals and well-honed, insightful songs, Gráinne has shared stages with Glen Hansard, opened for Gladys Knight, Eagle Eye Cherry and the Bay City Rollers, and has been compared to vocal icons Tracy Chapman and Nathalie Merchant.

July 27thEmma Langford
Emma hails from Limerick in the South-West of Ireland. Since first bursting onto the scene in 2016 she's hardly taken her foot off the pedal, with an eye-watering ever-growing tour schedule and frequent collaborations up her sleeve. The artist has received consistent praise from national and international media and audiences alike, with The Irish Times describing her debut album, Quiet Giant (2017), as “music that weaves a spell as you listen to it… An enduring piece of work”.

August 3rdColm Quearney
Formerly with Lir and Dragon Fly, Colm is also a solo artist performing under the name of Q, with three albums released under this guise to date. As a session guitarist he's performed with Cathy Davey, Damien Dempsey, Mundy and Mark Geary, and has played guitar and co-written songs with Jerry Fish, The Pale and Bronagh Gallagher.

August 10thZeztra
Zeztra are sisters, Avril & Lorna Meade, from Dublin, a singing and song writing duo with uniquely powerful harmonies. After a chance opportunity in 2019 to open for Maverick Sabre at The Academy in Dublin, they continue to write, release and perform their original material.
