Vicar Street is to host A night to celebrate the life and music of Christy Dignam on Friday May 3rd, 2024. “Christy Dignam A Celebration” will feature a variety of Top Irish Artists performing Dignam's songs that he sang throughout his career up to his final album.
The celebration is being organized in response to the massive requests from fans and artists for a night to come together to honour Christy’s legacy. The Dignam family is also directly supportive of the event and would like to thank everyone for their love and support.
“Christy loved Vicar Street,” said Christy's wife, Kathryn Dignam. “It was a place where he felt at home and where he could connect with his fans on a deep level. We are so grateful to everyone who is helping to make this celebration a reality.”
The line-up for the “Christy Dignam A Celebration” will include some of the biggest names in Irish music and will be a night filled with songs and stories. A night not to be missed.
