The Write Stuff are gatherings in collaborative storytelling, poetry & music. Curated & hosted by Dublin writer Steve O'Toole. At each gathering, storytellers, and poets, are joined by showcase musicians, working to a pre-agreed theme. Thus, delivering a continuous, collaborative flow of original work. This event will feature Brush Shields and the QueenBees.

Developed and produced entirely by the museum’s Youth Panel (ages 16–25), this free event transforms the bookshop into a social hub where young photographers present work on their own terms.
Discover compelling new photography from nine emerging voices: Isabella Danaher, Genevieve Eyzat, Henry James, Elia de Leon, Maria Maiorschi, Alice May, Laura Nadal, Ella O’Brien, and Jim Xi Johnson.

Join artist Sian Costello in conversation with writer and editor Penny McCormack to explore 'It’s All About You'
Costello discusses her new and recent paintings, which explore self-image, performance, artifice and the history of figurative painting. Working from her own body as a model, she combines staged photography, camera obscura techniques and painting to question the boundaries between reality and invention.
The conversation will delve into Costello’s creative process and the ideas and art-historical references behind the exhibition, including her interest in the representation of women and the often-unseen labour of the model.
The event also offers an opportunity to hear Costello reflect on her developing practice and recent recognition, including winning the K+M Evans Painting Prize at the 2026 RHA Annual Exhibition.
