Yoga for Alone and Age Action with Michael Ryan: Gappenings – Online.
Happenings are Ireland's premier outdoor yoga and open air cinema event organisers. They concentrate on events that have social and environmental impact, working with brands and charities. During these strange days of Covid-19 and for the purpose of these fundraisers, they are calling themselves ‘Gappenings'. Mind that gap, stay at home.
Gappenings are about keeping your body active and calming your mind in these stressful times. This Saturday they bring you another session with yogi Michael Ryan, teacher to President Michael D. Higgins no less! The first week raised over €1,000 for Feed The Heroes and last week raised over €4,000 for Childline. This week all profits will be donated to the charities Age Action and Alone, who both find themselves very busy at this time. You can purchase access to the session for just a €5 charity donation. So help them, while helping yourself – no brainer! Should you wish to donate more, they're more than happy to help you do that too – just click and you can choose your amount at the Tickets link below. You'll receive the link to watch the video. The video will première at 11am on Saturday and everyone is encouraged to take part in unison then – but if that doesn't work for you, you can watch anytime after 11am.
