Dublin City Council is delighted to announce ‘Smithfield Fleadh’ a new, free, folk and traditional music event in Dublin City Centre.
Smithfield Square is Dublin city centre’s largest dedicated event space, and this year’s Fleadh is the first of its kind to take place in the location. The two-day event promises a programme of live music from a range of talented musicians across the Irish folk and traditional music scene, as well as workshops for all the family to enjoy.
Saturday 18th June:

• 1-2pm: Treehouse by Ceol Connected (Children's Traditional Music and Puppet Show)
• 3-4pm: Cormac Begley & Friends
• 5-6pm: The Dublin Lasses w/Sibéal Davitt & Friends (Instrumental Music + Sean Nós Dance)

• 12-1pm: Na Píobairí Uilleann presents ‘Try The Pipes' Workshop
• 2-3pm: Poster Fish Promotions presents ‘A Celebration of Traveller Music' with Trish Reilly, Stephen Dunne, Mickey Dunne
• 4-5pm: ITMA presents Drawing From The Well with Paddy Glackin (Music & Discussion)

• 2-3pm: Harp Ireland presents The Triad Harp Trio feat. Fiona Gryson, Rachel Duffy and Siofra Ni Dhubhghaill
• 4-5pm: ITMA presents Drawing From The Well with Thomas McCarthy (Song and Discussion)
