Samhain agus Science Festival

Dublin Institute For Advanced Studies, Wednesday 22nd October - Thursday 6th November

The Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies (DIAS) is once again conjuring up the spooky side of science and history with the return of its much-loved festival, Samhain agus Science.

Come along to the free events and explore medieval murder mysteries, the history of demons in physics, the cosmic hauntings of the Big Bang, the solar flares erupting from our Sun, the role of the Dead Zoo in deepening our understanding of nature, and the dynamic forces beneath the Earth’s surface

Beginning Wednesday 22 October, Samhain agus Science will run until Wednesday 4 November and the events will take place at 7pm in DIAS HQ, 10 Burlington Road, with one event being hosted at 6pm in the Museum Building, Trinity College Dublin.

All events are free and are designed for a general audience, welcoming everyone from curious newcomers to seasoned science enthusiasts to learn more about the world around us.
