Online, Saturday 16th May
For this year's National Drawing day, we're inviting you to join our Art and Science Curriculum Coordinator Muiriosa and Lead Mediator Ian to explore drawing through an interactive zine-making makeshop.
The workshop will guide you through some warm-up drawing exercises, introduce zine making and zine binding methods, and use expressive drawing and zine construction to explore how we can be more mindful of our surroundings. We encourage you to use this workshop to visually describe your environment and contemplate your place in it.
What you’ll need:
Paper and a pencil or pen
Optional extras:
Needle and thread, glue, tape, markers, Post-It notes, scrap paper, collage materials (we'll send you some more tips for materials when you sign up)
The workshop requires zero drawing experience. All are welcome, but please note we have a limited number of tickets – so only register if you can make it.
Please note the workshop is only suitable for participants aged 15+
