Meditation Workshop: Overcoming Loneliness

This event has ended

Online, Saturday 12th December

In a time of ever increasing digital connection, why are feelings of disconnection, isolation and loneliness on the increase? Loneliness is not simply a function of not being with others, it is an experience of isolation that arises from a misperception of our self, even when surrounded by others.

We have a tendency to mistakenly perceive ourselves as inherently separate from the world around us, which in turn gives rise to feelings of isolation, anxiety and loneliness. In this workshop – through teachings and guided meditations – we will learn simple, direct methods to overcome any underlying sense of isolation or loneliness, opening us up to an authentic experience of inner peace, joy and connection with others, even when we are on our own.
