Continuing our Jazz Connector online meet-ups with a focus on career development, IMC would like to invite the Irish music community to come together for an interactive presentation, Q&A session and chat on Thursday May 20th from 7:00 – 8:30PM.

The topic at hand is:

Making Money From Your Song

We’ll be joined by Paulette Long, who will be providing us with a seminar created to inform, advise and guide Songwriters, Music Producers, Music Creators, Lyricists, Composers, Authors, Artists and Musicians through the seemingly complicated ways in which money can be generated from their wonderful creations.

We’ll look at the various income streams that generate money and how you can ensure that income, when generated, flows straight into your pocket.

Know who you are within the music industry ecosystem and learn how to get paid.
Get to Know the main music industry income streams and where you will receive your income from.
There are a number of ways to generate money from your music, find out what works best for you.
Understand what you own – have you signed your copyrights to someone else? Keep abreast of where your rights are being held.
