The inaugural In The Meadows takes place on Saturday, June 08th, 2024 across two stages. This brand new one-day event makes its debut in the heart of Dublin’s City Centre. From the people behind All Together Now & Forbidden Fruit, this special event is curated for true music fans, set in one of Ireland’s most unique concert settings, the grounds of the Irish Museum Of Modern Art.

Headlining and co-curating this event are Mercury-nominated and winners of this year’s Choice Music Prize, Irish band LANKUM. Amidst the stunning backdrop of IMMA, the Dublin four-piece are set to deliver a euphoric and exhilarating performance as their only Dublin show for 2024.

Joining Lankum are an array of exceptional artists, showcasing a diverse range of genres and talents. Among the first announced are Scottish post-rock pioneers Mogwai, the experimental jazz and spoken word ensemble Black Country, New Road, folk multi-instrumentalist John Francis Flynn and British musician Kate Stables aka This Is The Kit, known for her distinctive blend of folk, indie, and experimental music.

Other artists performing on the day:

Mercury Rev, the pioneering indie rock band from Buffalo, New York. Dublin-based musician Rachael Lavelle with her hauntingly beautiful melodies. Virtuoso Irish traditional musician Cormac Begley, renowned for his mastery of the concertina. With his innovative approach to traditional tunes and captivating performances, Begley’s music bridges the gap between past and present.

Hailing from Bristol, the Tara Clerkin Trio, offers an eclectic blend of folk and experimental jazz. Leitrim-based Kurdish/Syrian musician and Bouzouki player Mohammad Syfkhan is an incredible talent, infusing Middle Eastern and North African elements into ecstatic and joyous music.

Andy The Doorbum is known for his macabre, emotionally raw and genre-blending music, this Charlotte-based musician brings a DIY ethos and thought-provoking storytelling to the stage. Additionally, Ana Palindrome, an Irish band weaving tales around a fictional character, promises a unique musical experience, drawing from their backgrounds in Cork City’s DIY scene.

In The Meadows is not just a festival; it’s a celebration of music in one of Ireland’s most iconic settings. Join us on June 8th, 2024, for a day filled with captivating performances, unforgettable moments, and a sense of community that only music can provide.
