A theatrical triumph, winner of 3 Olivier Awards including Best Musical Revival, FIDDLER ON THE ROOF is coming to Bord Gáis Energy Theatre for two weeks only in what is set to be the theatre event of 2025.

It’s 1905 in the tiny village of Anatevka Tevye, a Jewish milkman, lives his life by their proud traditions. For his five daughters, that means a visit from the matchmaker. As each daughter challenges his beliefs, against the backdrop of a changing world, can Tevye hold on to his roots, or must he bend to the will of his children and learn to embrace the unfamiliar?
One of the greatest musicals of all time featuring, ‘If I Were A Rich Man’, ‘Tradition’, ‘Matchmaker’ and ‘Sunrise, Sunset’, this classic musical of joy and community is an exuberant celebration of love and life.

The 147th Annual Exhibition of the Dublin Painting & Sketching Club is open to the public from Monday 15th until Saturday 28th September, in the Town Hall space of the Windmill Quarter.
