Festive Fundraiser for the Irish Osteoporosis Society – The Snowman + The Snowman and the Snowdog.
Irish Osteoporosis Society (IOS) is delighted to host a seasonal screening of two Christmas classics based on the books by Raymond Briggs. The screenings will be introduced by Prof Moira O'Brien, Founder of the Irish Osteoporosis Society.
One winter's night, a snowman comes to life and an unforgettable adventure begins… Raymond Briggs' favourite classic picture-book adapted for film is a true piece of Christmas magic. Narrated entirely through pictures, it captures the wonder and innocence of childhood and is now loved throughout the world. The Snowman and The Snowdog is the much-anticipated sequel to The Snowman. Why not bring your children and grandchildren to this family event. Bring a blanket or a cushion and snuggle up for a true Christmas treat. All welcome.
All proceeds from the event will go to funding the ongoing work of the IOS in the treatment and prevention of osteoporosis.
