To celebrate International Women’s Day, the Lord Mayor of Dublin Hazel Chu will host a free, interactive webinar entitled ‘EmpowHERment: Tackling Unconscious Gender Bias in the Workplace’.

She will be joined by female leaders to discuss the unconscious gender bias faced by women in the workplace and explore proactive measures that businesses and Government can implement to combat it.

The speakers for this webinar include:

  • Norah Casey, Broadcaster, Entrepreneur, and Human Rights Campaigner

  • Lorna Conn, Group Chief Financial Officer, CPL Recruitment

According to Grant Thornton International 2020 Women in Business Report, 31% of women in Ireland hold leadership roles, while 20% are in CEO positions. This webinar will look at what measures can be introduced to tackle unconscious gender bias in workplaces nationwide. The guest speakers will share their experiences on the barriers facing future female leaders and how we can ensure better gender equality in businesses and in society.
