To celebrate the voices and actions of human rights defenders from Ireland and around the world, leading Ireland-based human rights organisations have once again come together to bring you a weekend packed with interactive workshops, film screenings, panel discussions, artistic performances and more for the Dublin Human Rights Festival 2018.
Dates: the majority of the programme takes place on Saturday 24th November at Smock Alley Theatre & The Wood Quay Venue, with a film screening of Naila and the Uprising – The Movie and the festival launch on the evening of Friday 23rd November @ 6:30pm (Wood Quay Venue), and an LGBT walking tour of historic queer Dublin on Sunday 25th November @ 3pm (meeting point Barnardo Square, Dame Street).
The festival will take place across 3 locations:
• Smock Alley Theatre,Temple Bar, Dublin 8
• The Wood Quay Venue (access via Fishamble Street), Dublin 8
• The International Bar, 23 Wicklow Street
