Climate Fest, a FREE fun family event hosted by South Dublin County Council, is taking place on Saturday 17th of September from 11am to 4pm in Tallaght’s Tymon Park. The festival aims to promote environmentally friendly habits through exciting workshops, talks and activities.

Biodiversity, recycling and reusing will all be part of the excitement. Take a biodiversity tour with heritage expert Dale Treadwell around Tymon Park Wood, create a pet bed and graffiti from unusual reuse materials with ReCreate or listen to a talk in our Living Lab Community Hub.

Activities will exhibit how fun eco-living can be while providing attendees with lots of information. Get involved in one of the many activities led by Stop Food Waste and Recycle IT, get hands on with ReCreate workshops and feel the wind on ESB e-bikes. There truly is something for everyone!

Climate Fest is taking place alongside Tymon Park Food & Craft market where there will be live music, food stalls and circus entertainers during the day.
