Join Dublin’s Historian-in-Residence for Children Dervilia Roche and Richmond Barracks Eco-Gardener-in-Residence Polly Rowley-Sams for this free, interactive workshop for children aged 9 – 12 at Richmond Barracks.

Explore the history of the winter solstice, learn about other dates in the old Irish calendar, and create a special version of a Christmas wreath that represents the cycle of the year.
For your own safety and that of our staff and other visitors, all visitors attending indoor events and activities at Richmond Barracks will be required to bring proof of Covid-19 vaccination or immunity, and matching photo ID on arrival at the building. Children under the age of 12 are not required to present proof of vaccination status.
