Children's History Workshop: What Was There Before Inchicore?
Join Dublin’s Historian-in-Residence for Children Dervilia Roche for this free, interactive workshop for children aged 9 – 12 at Richmond Barracks, presented as part of Culture Date with Dublin 8.
Step back in time as we trace Inchicore and Kilmainham’s development from Viking burials to the city suburbs we know today. Use maps and other tools to chart the changing face of Inchicore throughout the centuries and learn about the people who have called the area home at different points throughout history.
Please note that children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout the workshop
