A Conversation on Women in Leadership

This event has ended

Online, Monday 8th March

Leading voices from politics, law and the arts share their experiences and their analysis. The panellists will discuss the importance of women in leadership, Covid 19 and the impact of #WakingTheFeminists.

“One of the criticisms I’ve faced over the years is that I’m not aggressive enough or assertive enough or maybe somehow, because I’m empathetic, it means I’m weak. I totally rebel against that. I refuse to believe that you cannot be both compassionate and strong.” – Jacinda Ardern (Prime Minister of New Zealand).

Our panel includes Minister Catherine Martin, Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media, Doyle, the first female Chairperson of Matheson; Anne Clarke, founder of Landmark Productions; Mamobo Ogoro, founder of Gorm TV; Deirdre Kinahan, award winning playwright, with more guests to be announced. The event will be moderated by Maria Fleming, General Manager of Dublin Theatre Festival.

The event is free and all are welcome, with registration needed.
