Take a midweek pause in the heart of the city with free outdoor Yoga & Pilates every Tuesday in July at Meeting House Square, Temple Bar.

Brought to you by Dublin City Council’s Sport & Wellbeing Partnership, these lunchtime sessions offer a chance to move, breathe, and reconnect — right in Dublin’s cultural quarter.

Dates: Every Tuesday in July (1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th)

Rose Festival

St Anne's Park

Parks, Biodiversity and Landscape Services are celebrating 50 years of the Rose Garden with the return of the Rose Festival to St. Anne’s Park from 10.00am – 6.00pm on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th July 2025. This free festival will have activities for the whole family, including stalls with plants and flowers for sale and arts & crafts for kids. For all the staff who participated in Irish lessons, BAC Le Gaeilge will be there so you can speak a cúpla focal. There will be musical acts including Fused, Back Stage Bandits and the Dublin Ukelele Collective who will play over the weekend.

The award-winning and hugely popular #BrayAirDisplay will make a welcome return for the summer of 2025. And it will be back bigger and better than ever with an incredible lineup The free, family event is one of the most popular air shows in Europe and Ireland’s biggest air festival, attracting thousands to the Co. Wicklow seaside town to marvel at amazing aerobatics. The Bray Air Display is the biggest public free event in Ireland drawing crowds of 140,000+.  It also has the largest movement of the public on the Dart network outside of commuting.

Opera in the Open

Wood Quay Amphitheatre

Opera in the Open is an initiative of Dublin City Council that presents live performances of operatic work in the open air in Dublin City Centre. The annual opera season is taking place on 7, 14, 21 & 28 August in the Amphitheatre at the Dublin City Council Civic Offices, Wood Quay, Dublin 8. Each opera performance is presented in an abridged format, narrated in English, and lasts one hour, fitting perfectly into the lunchtime slot from 1 to 2pm.
