Wheatus

This event has ended

The Grand Social, Thursday 29th November

Wheatus, easily one of the most recognisable names in music, return to Dublin for an eagerly awaited intimate show.

Wheatus are one of those bands that the sheer mention of their name conjures up images of awkward adolescence and fond nostalgia. With their most iconic track Teenage Dirtbag being so much more than a generational thing, the song perfectly captures the mood of coming of age confusion and has spurred the band to be known across generations and stay relevant in a world dominated by left/right swipes and phone screens.

With their debut album turning 17 years old this year, Wheatus still sell out venues across the world and most recently in Ireland, sold out Whelan's. Wheatus are still producing amazing music for all generations and while their newer music may be lesser known, it showcases their amazing song crafting and the talent that made the band famous.

Brendan B Brown, the founding member of Wheatus has maintained the singularity of his vision for the band and the maturity that has come through the years for him really shines through the music. This one guarantees to be a night to recall fond memories and more importantly, to create new ones!
