Virgin Media Dublin International Film Festival is back March 3rd – 14th 2021 as a multi-platform Festival: a new, re-imagined format bringing the full Festival experience to our longtime fans and new audiences in the safest way possible!

The 2021 programme will include cinema, drive-in, outdoor events as well as online screenings on our new Eventive streaming platform. This means you can join us in a celebration of the excitement, beauty and enjoyment of film without leaving the house!

The 2021 Festival programme will have a line-up of exciting new Irish and International feature films and documentaries, seven programmes of short films, alongside archive programmes, virtual red carpets, special artist tributes, panels, interactive workshops, and Q&As with cast and filmmakers.

As always, we will have a great line-up of hard-hitting documentaries, the best contemporary world cinema and our Festival Retrospective will celebrate the women at the vanguard of Black Cinema.
