Acclaimed Irish soloists Lynda O'Connor (violin) and Ailbhe McDonagh (cello) present an engaging evening of music at the United Arts Club, nestled in Georgian Dublin. Long-time chamber partners with over 20 years of collaboration, O'Connor and McDonagh bring their artistry to a compelling programme featuring works by Kodály, Handel-Halvorsen, and original compositions by McDonagh.

The Irish Times hails O'Connor as “one of the greatest Irish violinists of her generation,” while Fanfare Magazine praises McDonagh for her “flawless technique, faultless intonation, and a strong yet meltingly sweet tone.”

The programme also includes a selection of tango classics, featuring McDonagh's Calary Tango, alongside Libertango by Piazzolla and Por Una Cabeza by Carlos Gardel.

Messiah on the Street

The Annual Messiah on the Street returns at 1.00pm, Sunday 13th April on Fishamble Street, Dublin 8. Celebrating the world premiere of Messiah, all are welcome to this on-street performance. Up to 120 singers from Our Lady’s Choral Society and guests will join The Dublin Handelian Orchestra and Heather Sammon – Mezzo Soprano (Soloist) for a performance of excerpts from Handel’s Messiah.
