Hitchcock’s Vertigo: 67th Anniversary

The Vertigo67 festival kicks off with a special 4k screening of the 1958 classic film Vertigo starring James Stewart and Kim Novak in the Lighthouse Cinema in Dublin on Tuesday 12th August at 8pm, with a free introductory talk before the movie screening given by Elizabeth Bullock (San Francisco).

After the evening screening of the movie at the Lighthouse on Tuesday 12 August, the Vertigo67 festival continues over in the Trinity Long Room Hub venue, Trinity College Dublin from Wednesday 13th August to Friday 15 August. The Vertig67 festival celebrates the collaboration between Alfred Hitchcock and Bernard Herrmann for their masterpiece Vertigo. The festival events at Trinity College run over three days with presentations, talks, interviews and panel discussions from 20 international scholars, writers, conductors and artists from across the globe: US, UK, Hong Kong, Ireland and Switzerland.

Note: screening of Vertigo in 4k at the Lighthouse Cinema on Tuesday 12th August at 8pm.
