UPRISE Festival Europe 2018

The Richmond, Wednesday 17th October - Thursday 18th October 2018

UPRISE Festival, the talent and technology festival, returns to Dublin with a new home and an even more ambitious two-day schedule. The event is the seventh edition of the festival that has catapulted startups onto the global tech scene during the European events hosted in The Netherlands and now Ireland.

The two main-stages this year focus on showcasing a new way of looking at topics through our 13 Content Tracks during the 2 Day Festival. Bringing 105 Speakers with over 60 hours of content. Prominent themes this year are Smart Cities, Blockchain, Automation, Sportstech, Healthtech, Fintech, Recruitment and the Workplace. Dublin City Council this year sponsors one of our two main-stages committing to building the tech meet culture aspect of the unique festival.

This year's venue is none other than the Dublin landmark, The Richmond, a former hospital on Dublin's North Brunswick Street. Indeed, the move marks the beginning of a community relationship with Smithfield, one of Dublin's rich cultural pockets. UPRISE Festival is the first tech festival to showcase in the vicinity.
