The Sugar Club, Thursday 24th March

As part of Dublin’s Cycling Symposium, Dublin City Council are hosting a film screening of Together we Cycle.

This documentary looks at how the Netherlands became the cycling capital that it is today, and how they overcame many of the challenges and obstacles that we currently face in Dublin.

The screening will be followed by a panel discussion moderated by Conor Cahill from the Dublin Cycling Campaign. Panelists include Dutch journalist, Thalia Verkade, Chris Bruntlett from the Dutch Cycling Embassy, Cllr. Janet Horner, Chair of the DCC Walking & Cycling sub-committee and Catherine Cleary, freelance journalist.

This symposium is part of the Handshake project, which brings together 13 cities across Europe to learn from each other by sharing experience, expertise and best practice on all things cycling.
