The Ramparts are an all-male a cappella choir you’ve likely seen on YouTube, TV, or even on the streets of Dublin! Packed full of personality, they are a versatile group of performers known for their diverse repertoire—from traditional Irish favourites to pop classics and electrifying barbershop harmonies.

Fresh off their recent wins at the Derry International Choir Festival 2024 and Feis Ceoil 2025, they are ready to take to the Ambassador Theatre stage for an unmissable night of music and entertainment.

These lads know how to captivate an audience with their powerful sound and even bigger personalities. Whether on stage, on the street, or in the pub, The Ramparts always deliver a unique and unforgettable show.

Barry Sutton is an English singer-songwriter and guitarist from Liverpool who has performed with numerous alternative rock bands since 1981. His career began as the songwriter and vocalist in the unsigned bands Western Diplomats (1981-1983) and Marshmallow Overcoat (1983-1987). He joined Walkingseeds as guitarist and backing vocalist in 1986 and played on two of their LPs: Skullfuck (1987) and Upwind of Disaster, Downwind of Atonement (1989) before leaving to join The La’s in 1988. Sutton left The La’s after one year and during the 1990s, he performed with his own bands Froth (1990-1993
