The Last Five Years

This event has ended

The Lir, Tuesday 26th June - Friday 29th June

The Last Five Years follows the doomed marriage of Jamie, an arrogant Jewish novelist, and Cathy, an insecure gentile actress.

Happiness is a fragile structure, built on a precarious foundation of perspective and memories and subject to the unforgiving wear of time. In this intimate, emotionally-charged musical the bliss and traumas of love are chronicled, uniquely, by a single relationship with two journeys through time: end to beginning, and beginning to end.

Originally Produced for the New York stage by Arielle Tepper and Marty Bell.
Originally Produced by Northlight Theatre, Chicago, IL.
