The New Lark Comedy Club runs monthly with Resident M.C Fred Cooke (Tommy Tiernan show) and features a different Headline and Support act every show. This month Fred welcomes Dublin comedian Willa White to The Lark Comedy Club. A member of the special class in school, but a genius on the stage, Willa has established himself as a regular at comedy clubs and festivals nationwide. He has worked with names like, Jason Byrne, Tommy Tiernan, and Kevin Bridges to name but a few. His quickfire wit and engrossing stage presence have elevated him into one of today’s must-see comedians!

Willa had a long career of appearances on RTE (Joy in the Hood, Love/Hate and The Savage Eye), has recently been heard on the Talking Bollix and the Two Norries podcast and just finished the country-wide tour of his hit play, The Examination. January 2024 saw him launch the You Must Be Jokin’ podcast with fellow Dublin comedian Eric Lalor. Guests so far have included John Colleary, PJ Gallagher and Des Bishop.

Support on the night comes from the hilarious Gar Murran. Gar won The Bulmers Comedy Competition in 2006 and was a Finalist in So You Think You're Funny '07. He has performed at some of the UK's best clubs including The Hyena, The Glee Clubs, Jongleurs, Amused Moose, Funhouse Comedy Club. He is a regular MC/performer at Ireland's biggest comedy club The Laughter Lounge, (Dublin, Waterford) & The International Bar, Comedy Cellar, Roisin Dubh.
