The Olympia Theatre, Sunday 15th March

The David McWilliams Podcast – Live at The Olympia Theatre Dublin.

The Olympia Theatre @olympiatheatre
Following the Irish Government's directive to cancel all events of over 100 capacity (indoor) and 500 capacity (outdoor) due to take place between March 12th and March 29th, The Olympia Theatre has now postponed all affected shows. The Olympia Theatre is currently working with their promoters to reschedule all dates. Original tickets purchased for all affected events will remain valid for rescheduled dates which will be notified to patrons on confirmation.

Since its launch in May of last year, it has become one of the top podcasts in the country, Apple citing it as of its best listens of 2019. Aiming to make economics accessible and relevant, the weekly podcast is compelling listening for thousands of people whose interest in economics and its repercussions has been sparked by the content. The conversational exploration of topics that range from trade to Brexit to Amazonian fires, between McWilliams and childhood friend John Davis, unravels complex issues often with provocative conclusions.

David McWilliams is an economist, author, journalist, documentary-maker and broadcaster. He is Adjunct Professor of Global Economics at the School of Business Trinity College Dublin. David is ranked 10th most influential economist in the world. He has devoted his entire professional life to the objective of making economics as widely available and easily understandable on as many platforms and to as many people as possible – and is having a laugh doing it!

The David McWilliams Podcast promises to be an evening of insight, laughs and lateral thinking as McWilliams and Davis artfully articulate and exposé economics at its best.
