Tap Talks

The Purty Kitchen, Thursday 3rd September - Thursday 22nd October

Tap Talks is a new live events series bringing leading experts out of lecture halls and into pubs, creating relaxed evenings where curious people can explore big ideas together over a drink.

Instead of another evening spent scrolling through social media or listening to a podcast alone, Tap Talks invites people to step away from their screens, hear from some of Ireland's leading thinkers and continue the conversation around the table afterwards.

Unlike traditional talks or conferences, Tap Talks is designed as a social experience. Each evening begins with a thought-provoking talk before the audience stays on to discuss the ideas
over a drink, bringing conversation back to one of Ireland's oldest social institutions: the pub.

The first season, Making Sense of a Changing World, will explore some of the biggest questions shaping our future, including artificial intelligence, the future of healthcare and the future of theinternet.

The inaugural speakers include AI expert Mark James, technology entrepreneur and former RTÉ journalist Mark Little, and Professor Luke O'Neill, one of Ireland's best-known science communicators.

Dublin Independent Fashion Week

Dublin Independent Fashion Week was founded in 2023 by a group of designers who recognised a gap in Ireland's fashion landscape: the lack of an accessible, independent platform dedicated to supporting homegrown talent. Today, DIFW continues to grow its platform, partnerships, and
