The Civic | Free theatre for preschool children

The Civic, Friday 31st August 2018

The Civic is committed to families; they are, after all, our most important communities and the building blocks of our creative society. As promised we are now providing regular engagements with families, presenting the highest quality work to stimulate your child's world and to help make play, story and imagination central to their way of interacting with life.

As part of this initiative, Anna Newell, leading theatre-maker for Early Years is providing training to actors for these young audiences.

Would you like to attend an open rehearsal session with your child (grandchild/niece/nephew etc.) and be part of these creative explorations?

Session for 3 – 5 year olds (preschool) and their accompanying adult.

This play remains one of the most beautiful and allegorical of our time. Written by: Samuel Beckett. Directed by: Patrick Sutton. Cast: Charlie Hughes, Dónal Courtney, Gerard Byrne, Rex Ryan.
