Tallafest 2019 – presented by Tallaght Community Council, in Tallaght Village's historic Architectural Conservation Area (ACA). Celebrating local heritage, nature & arts through creative fun!
See a 100 year old tram in Tallaght Village for the first time in 87 years! The replica has been provided courtesy of the National Transport Museum. This will give thousands in Tallaght a unique opportunity to see what travel was like before Dublin Bus and the Luas. The Big Dig is also making its first appearance at Tallafest. This will allow families experience what it is like to discover our history – as they dig through the site, participants will unearth Viking treasures and artefacts dating back 1,000 years.
