The Wilde Stages Festival (formerly the International Dublin Gay Theatre Festival) is an annual event, celebrating the contribution of LGBTQIA+ people to the theatre, past and present. The Festival was founded in 2004 to mark the 150th anniversary of the birth of Oscar Wilde, in his native city. Dublin Dance Festival brings artists and audiences together, live and virtually, to create and share exceptional, provocative and relevant dance experiences. The Dublin Dance Festival believes in the power of dance to move, connect and inspire change. With so much of Ireland’s culture tied up in language and the past, dance has a unique power to explore and express what it is to be human, right now.

Culture Date with Dublin 8 is a neighbourhood initiative, which aims to celebrate Dublin 8’s rich cultural, historical and architectural heritage while encouraging people who are living, working and visiting the area to explore what is on their doorstep. This collaborative project and programme of events aims to connect with and amplify the wider efforts being made to regenerate the area, highlighting all the great things there are to see and do in Dublin 8 to locals and visitors alike. This years event takes place from Monday 4th to Sunday 10th May.
