The St. Laurence O’Toole Pipe Band (SLOT) has earned its reputation as one of the world’s premier pipe bands, blending traditional Celtic music with innovative, world-class musicianship. Founded in 1910 in Dublin, Ireland, SLOT has grown from a community-based group to a global powerhouse, winners of 11 RSPBA major championship titles and 7 Grade 1 – All Ireland titles, including the prestigious World Pipe Band Championship title in 2010.

Under the direction of Pipe Major Alen Tully and Lead Drummer Stephen Creighton, SLOT has built a legacy of excellence, setting the gold standard in the pipe band world with their powerful sound, technical skill, and thrilling performances. Known for their creative arrangements and skillful adaptation of Irish musical heritage, SLOT’s performances are a vibrant tapestry of driving rhythms, stunning harmonies, and rich melodic lines that resonate with audiences around the world.
