Launched initially in 2020, as part of the Smart Dublin Programme, Smart D8 is a smart district focusing on Health and Well-being in the Dublin 8 area.
The Smart D8 Showcase is an in-person event; to hear more about Smart D8's innovative pilot projects in the area of health and wellbeing under themes like; population health, heart health, exercise and mental well-being.
Part of Ireland's National Public Service Transformation Week 2023 series of events, the showcase will give attendees an opportunity to:
• Observe the collaboration from across12 different public sector organisations as part of the Smart D8 consortium
• Experience the innovation happening through presentations and panel discussions from the Smart D8 pilot leads.
• Meet the Smart D8 network and explore the potential of future collaborations.
Lord Mayor of Dublin, Daithí de Róiste will open the event; followed by key note presentations and panel discussions from the Smart D8 partners and pilots, and concluding with networking opportunities.
