Skerries Traditional Music Weekend commenced in 2001 and developed over the years into an action-packed weekend with Concerts, Recitals, Workshops, Sessions and Street Music. Come one, come all and be part of Skerries Traditional Music Weekend. Take a walk about the town and you'll be sure to hear many a great session! Some of Ireland's' top exponents of traditional music will showcase their talents in a more informal and natural setting. The Red Bull Dance Your Style National Final will land at the Ambassador Theatre on Friday June 6th, with sixteen of the country’s top dancers going head-to-head for a shot at representing Ireland on the global stage. Tickets for Ireland’s biggest one-on-one street dance competition are on sale now for €10, excluding booking fee. Doors open at 7pm, with the action kicking off at 8.00pm. Ireland is the first, and only, country in the world to have a national day of free creativity for children and young people under 18. Cruinniú na nÓg is a flagship initiative of the Creative Ireland Programme’s Creative Youth Plan to enable the creative potential of children and young people.
