Red Bull Dance Your Style National Final

Wood Quay Amphitheatre, Sunday 14th July

Red Bull Dance Your Style is no ordinary dance event. DJs blast tracks at random, as dancers take to the floor in intense one-to-one battles, challenged to think on their feet and adapt their skills to match the rhythm of the beat. There are no judges – the dancer who wins the crowd, wins the battle.

The prize on offer? A once in a lifetime trip to represent Ireland at the Red Bull Dance Your Style World Finals, which take place this November in Mumbai. Last year’s champion Jessie Thompson, who represented Ireland at the 2023 World Finals in Frankfurt, will be defending her title but will face stiff competition from an incredibly talented field.

The search for Ireland’s most talented street dancer kicked off last month with auditions in Dublin, while four dancers also progressed from a qualifier event in Cork. A second qualifier event will take place in Wood Quay on Saturday July 13th at 1.30pm. Four more dancers will qualify from this round to join 8 wildcard dancers in Sunday’s National Final – when a field 16 of Ireland’s most talented will be narrowed down to one.

Red Bull Dance Your Style National Final at Wood Quay Amphitheatre will kick off at 2pm on Sunday July 14th, with entry free to the public.
