Radical Book Fair 2025

Teachers Club, Saturday 31st May

This year’s fair will host book stalls from a wide array of left-wing publishers, magazines, and media projects as well as stalls from different union and campaign groups. The event aims to bring together activists and organisers representing a range of political issues, including Palestine, housing, LGBTQ+ rights, anti-racism, and others with stalls from organisations such as the IPSC, CATU, La Chéile, The Ditch, Red Umbrella Fund, and many more.

The day includes an exciting lineup of speakers such as Penelope Duggan, socialist feminist and leading member of the Fourth International, Conor McCabe, Irish historian and author of Sins of the Father, and Richard Seymour, Irish author and writer behind the Lenin’s Tomb blog.

The book fair is followed by the inaugural John Molyneux Memorial Talk at 6 p.m. This talk is organised in memory of writer, ecosocialist activist and member of People Before Profit and the Socialist Workers Network, John Molyneux who passed away in 2022. The event features Stefania Barca, the environmental historian and feminist political ecologist, author of Forces of Reproduction.
