The Pillowman

Gate Theatre

A totalitarian regime. A missing child. A killer on the loose. A writer is arrested when a series of murders, bearing a chilling resemblance to his own stories, come to light. As two detectives chase a confession, they discover a truth much stranger than fiction. From Martin McDonagh, the award-winning writer of The Beauty Queen of Leenane, The Banshees of Inisherin and In Bruges comes a savage tale about the stories we tell to keep the monsters at bay. Directed by Olivier Award winner Lyndsey Turner, THE PILLOWMAN will open at the Gate Theatre on 9th July, with previews from 4th July.
