Slattery’s D4 Pints and Paperbacks book sale will be held on Sunday 8th of May 2022 to promote and raise funds in support of Ukraine through the sale of second hand paperback books. The event is open to anyone in the area interested in supporting Ukraine.

Attendees will be able to purchase second- hand books on an “all you can carry basis” while enjoying delicious pints, coffee or tea purchased at the bar. 100% of book sale proceeds will be donated to the Irish Red Cross in support of Ukraine.

The GAZE LGBTQIA Film Festival 2025 is back 31st July to 4th August at the Light House Cinema and the Irish Film Institute. Celebrating LGBQTIA storytelling, the programme features a selection of feature films and shorts celebrating the queer experience.
