About the Film

Alongside his musical partner Seán Millar and cameraman Céin O’Brien, Nick captures the highs and lows of their adventure. The film won Best Independent Film at the 2024 Galway Film Fleadh and Audience Choice at the IFI Documentary Festival.

  • Panel Discussion: Thought leaders and advocates for active travel and community living will discuss how Dublin can evolve into a more sustainable, bike-friendly city.
  • The Film Screening: The Song Cycle will be screened immediately after the Musical Bike Bop.

Ray O'Donoghue, Dublin’s Night-Time Economy Advisor, shares:
“This event ticks so many important boxes—it's cultural, community-driven, sustainable, and most importantly, it’s non-alcohol-focused. It’s a brilliant example of the kind of vibrant, alternative night-time experiences we’re aiming to encourage across Dublin.”
