The Cooler, Thursday 6th February

Following a critically acclaimed album launch at Bray Jazz, pianist Leopoldo Osio brings the successor to the acclaimed CEO Experiment to The Cooler. CEO Experiment, co-led by Osio provided a welcome new voice to the Irish scene for over a decade. With its successor, Osio has assembled here an ensemble of players from across the globe – Italian saxophonist Gianni Gagliardi, Spanish drummer Gonzalo Del Val, his long-time collaborator Peter Erdei from Hungary on bass, and virtuosic Cork based trombonist Paul Dunlea in this great new group.

‘Next Experiment’ offer a funky mix of infectious Latin American grooves, jazz, and cool and rhythms.
