The Irish Association of Youth Orchestras is delighted to return to the National Concert Hall, Dublin for their 30th annual Festival of Youth Orchestras!
The Festival of Youth Orchestras is the annual celebration of Irish youth orchestras and their talented members with a diverse variety of music played by young people for young people. The 2026 Festival of Youth Orchestras, the 30th edition, will see over 400 musicians from across Ireland take to the stage of the National Concert Hall for two concerts to perform classical works and modern arrangements. The programme features Symphonic Dances from West Side Story, Symphonic Suite from The Fellowship of the Ring, selections from Man of Steel by Hans Zimmer, traditional Irish music, original compositions from Irish composers such as Martin Power, Katharina Baker, Vincent Kennedy and much more!
The Festival of Youth Orchestras is funded by The Arts Council and supported by RTÉ Supporting the Arts.
