Neuro Pride Ireland

Online, Monday 2nd August - Sunday 8th August

This is a week where we can celebrate Neurodivergent People and our Neurodivergent communities.

We are looking for content to help make Neuro Pride 2021 diverse, educational, and fun! We want to ensure a variety of different Neurodivergent voices are heard.

In a diverse world full of differing opinions and information overload, it can be difficult to know how to support the neurodivergent people in our lives.

Neurodiversity is an umbrella term for many conditions and neuro-profiles and even within each community (Autistic, ADHD, Dyspraxia, Dyslexia, etc.), views, interests, abilities, and needs differ from person to person. We are individuals with complex, overlapping identities just like neurotypical people and we all need to be treated with respect, understanding, patience, and support.

Since its first edition, the Festival has grown to become a center for the creation and presentation of locally relevant, artistically ambitious works and is a highly regarded and much-loved part of the community. We believe that everyone should be able to experience and participate in arts and creativity.
