An In- development performance of this brand new play as part of First Fortnight 2021.
Performed by Roseanna Purcell
Directed by Mark O’Brien
Maureen McLoughney is 33 today. Standing on Tramore beach watching the rollercoaster she’s excited to finally take control. A new part time job as a deli assistant should shake things up nicely, less sweat and slog on the packaging floor at Southern Meats. But Maureen’s thoughts won’t stop interrupting, and as she tries to get her grip on life, her mind is slipping further out of reach.
MUCK is a new play in development, which looks at how a mix of loneliness and vulnerability in modern rural Ireland can lead to toxic consequences.
