An ensemble of incredible female spoken word artists and Sean-nós singers take to the Speranza stage for an unforgettable evening celebrating women’s songs and stories. An intimate, soul-stirring night of spoken word, searing vocals, and sonic storytelling from some of Ireland’s most vital female voices. This evening honours the deep rooted tradition of women’s songs and stories – from sean-nós to electric-folk. With performers and spoken word artists weaving ancient myths, personal truths and future visions, this will be a powerful, immersive experience. Mother Tongue is here.
