Moscow City Ballet – The Nutcracker. Part of the Tchaikovsky Trilogy.

Moscow City Ballet celebrates the classical Russian tradition in spectacular style. Victor Smirnov-Golovanov's original interpretation of The Nutcracker has an innovative freshness. The timeless story of Clara, who is whisked away on a fairy tale adventure by her Nutcracker Prince, is set to Tchaikovsky's glorious score and offers an unmissable treat for the whole family. This enchanting tale is an eternal seasonal favourite and the perfect introduction to Russian classical ballet. Tchaikovsky is the undisputed Tsar of ballet; his sweeping scores have the power to transport audiences from delight to despair, especially when performed by a full orchestra. The new generation of principal dancers adds a a youthful exuberance to these renowned ballets.
