This chat will cover the basics of budgeting, how to be friends with your budget (and money) and make it work for you. We will explore the main areas of budget setting and why it's good to have on, keeping an eye on costs and saving for the taxman without adding unnecessary stress. Speaking of the taxman, we will touch on how to budget for the taxman and spread the cost over the year so when tax time comes around we are all cool, calm and collected.

The talk will be followed by 10-15 minutes of informal networking in 2-3 breakout rooms.

Profile: Rana Sayegh
Ex-financial services corporate head trying to make the world of internal audit and accounting more accessible and less scary one client at a time. Having spent over a decade in the corporate world and after taking some time out, Rana took the plunge and set up for her own consulting practice, where she specialises in internal audit/process and control reviews with a bit of accounting work thrown in for good measure. She helps clients identify gaps in their processes and finds solutions to make their business more efficiently. She is also a qualified life coach and has helped clients calmly nagivate the world of change, budgets and taxes…
